He only has Widower Employee to hang out with over the holidays. Hence, Book Man hates Christmas. But now Book Man is learning that Christmas doesn't have to be sad. Book Man is ready to update the store.
Inquiring Lady bumps into Book Man at the tree Lighting ceremony and shamelessly flirts with him despite thinking he's dating PR Lady. PR Lady walks up and starts possessively hugging Book Man which really confuses Book Man.
Time for the dinner. Single Mom is nervous. She hasn't been on a date in ages. Widower Employee has cooked a great meal, and he's nervous. He hasn't been on a date since his wife died. PR Lady is nervous. She really likes Book Man, but Book Man is also her client. Book Man brings wine.
The next Mr Christmas event is the dance. Also, the Mr Christmas competitors will be auctioned off for dates. Book Man asks PR Lady to save a dance for him. Inquiring Lady bumps into Book Man and asks if it's ok if she bids on him. Book Man is flattered. Inquiring Lady assures Book Man it would be just as friends if she won because she knows about Book Man and PR Lady dating. Now Book Man is confused...
Book Man asks PR Lady, "why does Inquiring Lady think we are dating?". PR Lady tells Book Man she was worried that if he knew Inquiring Lady was interested in him he would quit the competition, and PR Lady would not have a client anymore. PR Lady says, "I did it all for you, so you could win, Book Man." Book Man is angry.
