A Dickens of a Christmas

Rating: 7/10

Reason: The acting was quite good, the ghost part was probably underdone. They could have made it a bigger part of the movie for sure, but it was ok.

______________________________________________

Lawyer Lady goes to her office. Assistant is decorating Lawyer Lady's office and has Christmas music playing. Lawyer Lady thinks no one will take her seriously if she has a whimsical side.

Boss Guy hands  LLady a file and says this is super important! Put everything else aside. Mess this up and you're done here!

LLady and Assistant get dressed in Olde Time dresses to go to a Victorian Christmas party. LLady keeps ripping her dress, or losing her hat in the fire. (She will not get her deposit back).

Now the heel has broken off LLady's shoe. Scruffy Single Dad talks about restoring the old Victorian house, and mentions there's a Ghost Guy (but he's friendly). LLady says she doesn't believe in ghosts, so SSD offers to show her the Ghost Guy. He hands her a photo and explains the guy in the photo is Ghost Guy. SSD tells them that Ghost Guy often appears around books having to do with Charles Dickens.

Assistant takes a picture of LLady and SSD. Assistant sees Ghost Guy, but he's not in the picture. LLady tells Assistant, "no more pictures."

SSD notices LLady is limping, and she shows SSD her broken heel. He offers to fix it for her.

SSD returns with the fixed shoe, and put it on LLady's foot, just like Cinderella. SSD gets called away by Teenage Son.

LLady is preparing to leave, and tips over the Christmas tree. SSD catches it. Assistant tries to smooth it over by talking about books. LLady says, "I'm a lawyer. I don't have time for books."

SSD tries to give LLady his business card. LLady tells SSD to give the card to Assistant.  LLady is blind to SSD's attempts to connect with her.

Assistant posted the picture of LLady with SSD, and now people are going to think they are dating!

SSD liked the photo.

LLady goes home, and her carpet is soaking wet. LLady opens her bag and finds SSD's business card in a Charles Dickens book. LLady calls SSD to help with her soggy rug. In the meantime, LLady finds the smallest single rag and starts sopping up the water.

SSD comes over the next day. He looks at the carpet and assesses. From his one look, he knows:

-the garage is below the wet floor

-a pipe has burst

-he can fix it

-he can replace the floor and seamlessly match it to the original hardwood

-he can get her a wholesale discount

-he can give her a quote later tonight

SSD notices the Charles Dickens book, and accuses LLady of stealing it from his house. LLady says she doesn't know how the book got in her bag. SSD says it's fine, it's probably the work of Ghost Guy, and LLady should read it.

LLady goes to work and accuses Assistant of putting the book in LLady's bag. Assistant doesn't know anything about the book. Assistant is getting mad for being falsely accused.

Later LLady is looking through her lawyer papers, and picks up the ghost book. She begins reading. It seems she is capable of reading books after all!

Assistant tells LLady that her dating standards are very high, and that's ok. Also, SSD meets those standards.

SSD has finished with the flooring, and LLady gives him a croissant. They talk about Paris. SSD asks LLady if she went to a private school. She proudly confirms his suspicions. SSD says he barely graduated from community college. LLady says that's ok. SSD wants to go to Paris someday. (All this is to point out they have very different backgrounds, and very different lives. LLady is privileged, SSD is poor).

LLady is off to work. SSD stays to finish stuff with the floor, and also does the dishes.  LLady returns home, notices the floor and dishes, and calls SSD. They flirt a little, then LLady asks when she'll get the bill. Things get awkward. SSD thanks LLady for her business.

LLady settles in to read from the ghost book. The stories are very short.

LLady goes to the garage to get something, and finds a fully decorated Christmas tree! LLady is about to call SSD, then her Mother rings to doorbell.

Mother and LLady make Christmas cookies, and Mother says she bought a Charles Dickens book, and has been reading it. This must be the work of Ghost Guy!

It starts snowing. LLady is sad. Mother acknowledges that Christmas is sad for them. The kitchen fuse blows. LLady doesn't know how to flip the breaker. Mother leaves and tells LLady to call a handyman. LLady calls SSD. He comes over and flips the breaker.

SSD notices an old table in the garage and offers to refurbish it for LLady. She says ok. SSD invites LLady to come watch Teenage Son play hockey. LLady says she's busy.

LLady reads a ghost book story. Every time she reads a story, she thinks about SSD, and likes SSD a little more.

SSD brings Teenage Son to LLady's house to help put the Christmas tree in the living room. Teenage Son asks LLady to come watch him play hockey. LLady says no thanks.

SSD gets a call from someone who needs help. SSD asks if LLady can bring Teenage Son to hockey. LLady regretfully says ok.

Teenage Son plays hockey while LLady waits in the car. LLady is adverse to hockey, and it is hinted at that it has something to do with her brother. Teenage Son gives LLady a flyer about his hockey tournament.

Boss Guy reminds LLady about her important case.

Teenage Son asks SSD if he likes LLady. SSD says she's not his girlfriend. Teenage Son tells SSD that LLady could be his girlfriend if he'd ask her.

SSD asks LLady if she can bring Teenage Son to hockey again. LLady says ok, and actually goes into the arena this time. Teenage Son is not playing well, and walks off the ice. LLady finds him, and tells him to relax and go play better. Teenage Son takes her advice, and shoots some scores!

SSD invites LLady over for spaghetti. LLady compliments SSD on his mad culinary skills. SSD asks LLady to pass him the jar of pasta sauce.  SSD tells LLady his wife died. LLady tells SSD she broke up with her last boyfriend because work was more important. They kiss.

SSD gets a call that Teenage Son doesn't feel good and needs to be picked up from his sleepover. SSD tells LLady he has to go get Teenage Son, so dinner is over before it starts.

LLady reads ghost book. LLady looks at hockey tournament flyer.

Boss Guy reminds LLady about her important case.

Assistant tells LLady to go have fun. LLady says she can't, because it'll remind her of her brother who died in a snowmobile accident.

LLady goes to watch Teenage Son play hockey. SSD asks LLady about the ghost book. LLady says she's busy with her important case. LLady is leaving now.

Teenage Son hits LLady with a snowball and she cries. SSD asks her what's wrong. LLady says she thought Teenage Son was her dead brother because he used to throw snowballs at her. He died snowmobiling just before he was going to go play hockey in Europe. SSD apologizes for not knowing any of that.

LLady goes home and calls Mother. Mother asks if LLady is ok. LLady tells Mother she likes SSD. Ghost Guy hovers in the background.

It's time for LLady to present her important case. Lawyer stuff is happening. The opposition brings in an expert witness. It's SSD.

LLady objects.

Overruled.

LLady objects to something else.

Overruled.

LLady asks what his degree is in, proving that maybe he's not such an expert after all.

SSD sadly leaves.

LLady wins her important case.

SSD asks how she could do that to him. Llady says it wasn't personal. SSD walks away. LLady got a promotion! LLady is not excited about the promotion. It will mean more time at work, and less time for a social life. She's a terrible person! She didn't mean to hurt SSD!

SSD is on a ladder, and Ghost Guy makes him fall.  Teenage Son calls LLady to the hospital. SSD says he's fine, it's just a broken leg. LLady says it was probably Ghost Guy.

LLady apologizes to SSD for how she acted at the important case. LLady tells SSD she quit her job. SSD tells her that's cool.  LLady offers to read the ghost book to SSD. He can't go anywhere anyway, so she starts reading.

SSD is very much enjoying story time. They almost kiss, then the nurse shows up with some pills. LLady goes home.

LLady asks Assistant to come to Teenage Son's hockey tournament with her. The score is tied. LLady tells Teenage Son, "good job." Now he'll win for sure! Assistant doesn't understand hockey. LLady is explaining everything to her. There's seconds left, and Teenage Son gets the goal! They won the Hockey tournament!

LLady has everyone over for Christmas. Apparently Assistant also quit her job so she can work with LLady forever. Teenage Son asks his new grandma for some hot chocolate. Mysteriously it's all gone. Ghost Guy strikes again!

LLady gives SSD a book about Paris. SSD asks if he can give her his gift. LLady says ok. SSD kisses LLady.

Christmas Comes Twice

Rating: 8/10

Reason: The acting was better than the average, and I enjoyed the going back in time element

_____________________________________

Workaholic woman is going home for Christmas. Don't worry, she's bringing work home with her, so it's going to be a productive holiday. Before she goes, she reads a newspaper article stating that some scientists made a discovery that she had been working on before she got her important job, and she's a bit jealous of that.

Workaholic Woman is not happy that her parents have downsized into a smaller house. She has so many good memories in the old one. This Christmas is going to be so different.

Sister and parents start talking about people in town like Old Teacher Lady, and WW says she has missed so much in the past few years, but she's been so busy working at her important job!

WW and Sister go to the Christmas festival, and talk about the Small Town Mayor (STM), who WW had a disastrous date with a few years ago. Then they bump into an Annoying Guy who annoys WW. They were always very competitive in school together, and it seems they still are.

WW mentions to Sister that she wonders what her life would be like if she had never taken her very important job that she is now addicted to...

WW is confused about a random merry-go-round, so she walks over and gets on it, as one does. It starts spinning, and she is filled with glee. Then it suddenly stops. WW disembarks.

Sister tells WW she has to run, and Small Town Mayor walks up to tell WW he's very excited about their upcoming date. WW is a bit confused, but before she can figure it out, STM walks away.

WW notices a poster for the new year's ball FIVE YEARS AGO!  Then WW spots her Old Teacher Lady (who has since passed), and she faints. Never fear! Annoying Guy catches her and brings her to the medical tent.

WW pieces together that she has gone back in time because of the merry-go-round, but Annoying Guy tells her there is no merry-go-round at this Christmas carnival.

WW is annoyed by the facts Annoying Guy is telling her, so she stomps off home. Much to her surprise, her parents don't live in their new place, so she heads back to their old house.

Then WW realizes Old Teacher Lady still lives next door, since it's 5 years ago now. So, she heads over to say hi. OTL says she has to run, but WW can see her tomorrow.

WW asks her mom what she'd do if she could go back in time. Mom would spend extra time with loved ones, fix old mistakes, and change some things she regrets. WW is inspired and grabs her telescope.

Mom tells WW that Science Man is coming to town, and he could give her an important job. WW says no thanks. Then she goes for a walk. While she's jauntily traipsing around town she tells everyone her "premonitions" about what's going to happen. She is not following the rules of time travel!

STM meets WW on the sidewalk and tells her how excited he is about their upcoming date.

WW then goes to the school to visit OTL, and she tells WW that Annoying Guy is a good fella who has been helping out with Science Club! WW stops in to listen, but can't help butting in on Annoying Guy's lesson and showing herself to be a smug know it all. Then WW breaks into a lesson on choosing what you do with your life wisely.

OTL volunteers WW to help Annoying Guy with Science Club over the next week. Neither WW nor Annoying Guy are happy about this arrangement, but both respect OTL too much, so they agree to it.

Annoying Guy asks WW about the future, but now WW decides it's important to follow the rules of time travel and not talk about it. But WW is willing too tell Annoying Guy all about her upcoming date with STM instead.

WW takes Sister or to lunch, and Sister is suspicious that WW is up to something. Sister is excited to tell WW of her plans to open a restaurant. WW knows everything, and tells Sister her restaurant will fail, and she should go into real estate instead. WW drops this bomb, then leaves.

Science Club becomes a competition between WW and Annoying Guy to have the best lesson. WW has information, but can't connect with the kids. It's a train wreck.

OTL gives WW some tips and encouragement, and also comments on the chemistry Annoying Guy has with WW. WW doesn't believe OTL, but she still likes her.

WW asks Annoying Guy to help her get a Christmas tree for OTL. WW begrudgingly tells Annoying Guy that he's a better teacher than she is. Annoying Guy says thanks, and then says he really loves his life. Does she? A freak gust of wind knocks over a tree, and Annoying Guy saves WW from getting hit by it.

WW decides to bring Science Club to the Christmas carnival to learn about scientific laws.  Annoying Guy is impressed. Annoying Guy tells WW he has always enjoyed competing against her. It made him have to be better than he was before.

Science Man bumps into WW and Annoying Guy and tells WW he's been trying to reach her! WW tried to put Science Man off, but Annoying Guy says, "of course, you should go talk to Science Man!" So now WW had no choice but to meet with Science Man about the important job.

It's time for WW's date with STM! They have nothing in common to talk about. All STM can talk about is networking and his political goals. The date does not go well. On her way home, WW bumps into Annoying Guy. He asks how the date went, and WW says she's surprised it went so poorly. Annoying Guy saw it coming. WW is beginning to see how charming Annoying Guy is.

Science Man tells WW she's amazing. She says thanks, but no thanks. Science Man says he's off to see how he can sweeten the deal. He's determined that WW is perfect for the job.

WW seeks out Sister to see if she has listened to WW's advice about switching careers. Sister tells WW she wants to make her own choices about her own life.

Then WW meets up with Annoying Guy to complain about how nothing is going to plan. Her date with STM went badly, Sister is mad at her, and her important job interview went too well.  WW thinks she needs to try harder to change her fate.  Annoying Guy tells her to stop fighting against it, and let it take it's course.

WW compliments Annoying Guy. Annoying Guy compliments WW. He has missed having WW around the last few years. WW admits she has also missed Annoying Guy.

WW and Annoying Guy go to OTL's house to help her decorate her Christmas tree. OTL is quite the matchmaker. OTL tells WW, "when you find a good guy, hang on tight. Also, isn't teaching the most rewarding job?"

WW asks OTL, "if you could go back in time, would you want to know what's going to happen in the future?" OTL tells her to just be present and enjoy today.

This week that WW has helped with Science Club has reminded her of how exciting learning about science is. It's been a very rewarding week, and she's not sure she's ready to give that up.

WW admits that everything she thought about her life was wrong. She was wrong about her Sister. She was wrong about STM. She was wrong about her important job. And she was wrong about Annoying Guy! He's not actually all that annoying!

Kissing nearly happens, but a text from Science Man interrupts it.

WW meets Science Man, and he offers WW a higher salary. WW says having time for her own research is more important than more money. Science Man says there's no one else who is as good a match for this important job.  WW says she's sure he can find someone else. Science Man reminds her of how important this job actually is, and he'll need an answer by morning.

WW tells Annoying Guy she's going to take the job.

 Annoying Guy says, "fine."

WW says, "weren't you the one who told me not to change fate?"

Annoying Guy regrets saying that.

WW finds Sister and apologizes for trying to tell Sister what to do. Instead, WW tells Sister she'll support her no matter where her dreams take her.

WW seeks out OTL and vaguely asks for advice on what she should do. OTL tells her to hang on to the good man she found! Go tell Annoying Guy how she feels!

WW heads to the Christmas carnival to tell Annoying Guy how she feels about him. Before she can, she spies the merry-go-round! She gets on it and it starts spinning! She announces to the wind, "I think I'm in love with you, Annoying Guy!" but the merry-go-round has taken her back to the future.

WW roams around town looking for Annoying Guy. She goes home instead and tells Sister she'll do amazing with her new restaurant venture. Then WW takes her telescope to look at the stars.

Annoying Guy strolls up, and returns the scarf WW dropped from the merry-go-round 5 years ago. Annoying Guy heard what she shouted to the wind, and apparently did nothing about it in the next 5 years. (Where did he think she went after the merry-go-round stopped? Did it disappear in front of him?)

Annoying Guy says he's falling in love with her too. Kiss.

WW tells her family she talked to Science Man, and she's moving back home. She can do her important job from here. Everyone stood up and clapped.

Annoying Guy suggests they go back to the Christmas carnival, and they ride the Ferris wheel together.

Big City Lady is summoned to a lawyer's office because her great aunt died and left her half ownership of a Cat Cafe.  She is excited because she wants to buy a place in the city, and if she can sell her half of the Cat Cafe she will have enough for a down-payment!

Big City Lady takes a trip to find out who the other co-owner is, and if she can convince them to buy her out.  She makes a plan to meet at the Cat Cafe.

VetDude is the other owner, and he is not excited about any part of Big City Lady's plan. He can't afford to buy her out, and he strongly believes the Cat Cafe is good for the community.

BCL calls the lawyer to find out what her options are, and the lawyer basically tells her there is no way to get her money out quickly if VetDude doesn't want to sell.

VetDude's assistant pesters him about not having dated in over 7 years. (This is foreshadowing....)

VetDude stops by Great Aunt's house to get the Christmas plans for the Cat Cafe. BCL offers to help with the festivities in exchange for selling the Cat Cafe quickly. Vet Dude agrees to a 3 week trial. If BCL helps for the next 3 weeks, and still doesn't believe the Cat Cafe needs to stay running, he'll agree to sell.

BCL contacts a Local Developer in preparation of selling the Cat Cafe. (This is premature, and I'm sure it'll come back to bite her in the butt.)

As BCL is preparing for the Christmas festivities, she keeps having flashback memories of her Great Aunt.

VetDude informs BCL that there's not just one Christmas party, it's basically 3 full weeks of events. This means they will be spending lots of time together over the next few weeks...

BCL starts getting into the Christmas spirit, and buys a Christmas tree. She has no decorations for it, so she asks VetDude if he has some extras she could borrow. He's got loads of them! And he'll help her decorate her tree too! (Not a double entendre).

BCL calls her City Friend to give an update, and City Friend suspects that BCL is falling for VetDude. BCL is not super quick to deny the accusation.

VetDude and BCL wanderer around the Christmas Fair, and Local Developer steps up to say hello, and firm up plans to sign the paperwork for selling the Cat Cafe at the Christmas party. VetDude is irritated that BCL would plan on signing at the actual Christmas party.

VetDude and BCL get invited to a Christmas potluck, so they decide to cook a dish to bring together. That talk about their pasts, and bond.

At the potluck it's revealed that BCL has made plans for the big Christmas party to be at VetDude's ex-fiance's restaurant. Also, VetDude's Assistant announces she's pregnant. VetDude is feeling sad and old, like love will never find him. BCL tells him he's still young and has plenty of time to have a family.

BCL calls her City Friend again, and admits she has a crush on VetDude. City Friend encourages BCL to see if it could work between them.

VetDude's ex-Fiance accuses VetDude of liking BCL, and he can't deny it. ex-Fiance tells him to go for it. It's about time he starts dating again! It's been 7 years!

After another Christmas event, VetDude is helping BCL clean up. She thanks him for helping, and asks who helps look after him. "No one," he says sadly, so she kisses him.

The Christmas festivities are going so well they are anticipating a very well attended Christmas party. BCL is excited about it. She is starting to see how important the Cat Cafe is in the community.

BCL arranges for a bunch of people to come help decorate for the Christmas party. VetDude can't believe it! He is so moved by their help.

The lawyer found a card in Great Aunt's paperwork, and sent it to BCL. Great Aunt said she made the Cat Cafe because she knew how important it was to BCL when she was little to find a home, and cats need homes too. That's why she bequeathed it to BCL.

VetDude takes a risk and asks BCL to not sell, and to stay in the town forever. BCL says all she ever wanted was a home in the city, and she still wants that. VetDude says, "fine, then you might as well leave now." BCL leaves.

As BCL is driving back to the city, she stops at a gas station because it's snowing. A man has a cat that he got from the Cat Cafe, and BCL sees that as a sign that she needs to go back.

The Christmas party is in full swing, and Local Developer shows up with the paperwork to sell. VetDude sadly signs it. BCL rushes in and tells VetDude she's sorry, and VetDude can't sell! She tells Local Developer she can't sell the Cat Cafe. Local Developer has a cat on his lap, and he understands. He's going to adopt the cat, and throw away the selling paperwork.

VetDude is elated that BCL is sticking around. BCL kisses VetDude.

A Firefighter's Christmas Calendar

Rating:  3/10

Reason: The acting is so weird. I don't know if these actresses can say their lines without smiling. And they always have the widest eyes 👀 Abandoned after 13 minutes.

Fire Lady helps put out a fire in someone house. She feels bad that their Christmas is ruined. She decided to bring back "Holiday Heros" to fund raise for families affected by fires.

Fire Chief is impressed by Fire Lady's drive, maybe partly because she's Chief's daughter.

Fire Lady asks her ad agency Sister for help with the fundraising, and Sister decides to help not only with that, but also to help Fire Lady find a special someone.

Ad Agency Sister wants to use sex appeal to get people's attention for the fundraiser. Fire Lady is not on board. Can't we just fund raise to help people?

Ad Agency Sister brought her photographer with her to help take photos.

Without watching any further, I can tell you that the Fire Lady and Photographer are going to get together, but first they will not see eye to eye because Fire Lady is from a small town, and Photographer is a big city Lady. There was just no variance of emotions, and every line was said with a smile, and big eyes. I don't have enough time in my life for bad acting.

Melt My Heart This Christmas

Rating:
7/10

Reason: The art was interesting, the story line was predictable, the acting was fine.

*Watched on W Network, also available on StackTV (Age 7+)

________________________________________________________

Glass Artist Lady is trying to get her art into the Christmas Fair, but the Organizer Guy won't let her in.

Famous Lady shows up with a crisis. Her assistant just quit, she can't do the fair without an assistant! GAL offers to assist Famous Lady, which will give her a way to sneak her own art into the Christmas Fair as a Secret Artist.

Organizer Guy is told by his boss that if the Christmas Fair doesn't do well this year, there won't be another one. The fate of the fair rests on OG's shoulders.

Famous Lady has started a new art collection, and GAL is not a fan. It's not unique, it's boring, but, Famous Lady has an ego that must be coddled or she's quitting the Christmas Fair!

GAL teams up with OG to keep Famous Lady happy. If Famous Lady is happy, the fair should do well. If the fair does well, then OG will be happy. If OG is happy, then he won't mind GAL's art being in the fair.

Famous Lady confides to GAL that she's nervous about a news interview because the Interviewer once said her art was too "loud", thus her current collection is monochromatic.

GAL mentions to OG that the central Christmas tree at the Christmas Fair is boring. OG tells her he plans on having the artists each create an ornament to decorate the tree, and also to promote the artists. GAL thinks that's a great idea.

Interviewer tries to get an interview with Famous Lady, but she hides. While Interviewer waits, he looks at the boring art collection.

As people come to look at Famous Lady's art, they are not impressed. It's boring and monochromatic. Meanwhile Secret Artist's art has sold out.

Interviewer notices Secret Artist's art and wants to find out who it is, and do an interview with her. GAL is not ready to reveal herself as Secret Artist.

Famous Lady hears about Secret Artist's art being super popular, and gets jealous because of her own lack of success. She's not used to playing second fiddle. (This story line is already getting complicated.)

Famous Lady tries really hard to track down who Secret Artist is. She is not successful.

GAL and OG accidentally break one of Famous Lady's pieces, and rather than tell Famous Lady, GAL says she can recreate it, so they sneak into Famous Lady's workshop and work together to cover up their mistake. Meanwhile they have a heart to heart talk about their hopes and dreams.

Everyone at the Christmas Fair is talking about Secret Artist. Famous Lady tells GAL she's going to create something amazing so everyone will start talking about her instead.

OG shows GAL the newly decorated Christmas tree, and GAL tells him what a great job he's doing. They have a moment, and GAL almost tells OG that she's Secret Artist... then she doesn't.

Famous Lady tells GAL she's nervous about her new art pieces. She shows GAL, and GAL can't hide her displeasure with them. They are still boring. GAL tells Famous Lady she needs to use colour! Famous Lady's confidence is restored. She vows to wow everyone including Interviewer!

The next day Famous Lady finds a shard of glass on the ground and starts to piece together that GAL is hiding something.

Interviewer has figured out that Secret Artist is GAL. Famous Lady has figured out that Secret Artist is GAL. OG has figured out that Secret Artist is GAL. Uh oh!

They all confront GAL at the same time. "Why didn't you tell us?" GAL was just afraid of being rejected (sounds like she has a lot in common with Famous Lady). OG is disappointed, he should never have trusted her. She made a mockery of the Christmas Fair! Interviewer is thrilled! What good TV this will be!

OG's boss is so disappointed that OG let a random artist in without proper vetting, that he's closing the Christmas Fair for good.

GAL finds Famous Lady to apologize. She never meant to hurt her. She just wanted to help Famous Lady get back to her roots. Famous Lady knows that GAL broke, and then remade one of her art pieces. She's begrudgingly impressed by GAL's talent.

Interviewer's news clip is going to reveal that Secret Artist is really GAL who was also being Famous Lady's assistant, and he is going to blow it out of the water, but before he can, Famous Lady goes online and tells everyone herself!

Interviewer then goes live and awards the Christmas Fair with the best Christmas Fair award! OG's boss decides to continue with the Christmas Fair after all, and let OG take the reins. OG did such a good job to get the award, he obviously knows what he's doing after all.

Famous Lady says she's going to help GAL with her career, but GAL needs to promise to use her own name from now on, she can't hid as a Secret Artist anymore. GAL agrees.

GAL apologizes to OG for lying to him. OG apologizes for not letting her have a space in the Christmas Fair in the first place, forcing her to use subterfuge.

Kissing happens. Someone takes a photo of them. More kissing.

The end
